Making an appointment at Cookie Cutters is easy. You can either book your appointment using their App, online on their website, or you can call into the store (801-298-2986) to schedule an appointment.
Once you arrive for your appointment you will find the decor of this kid’s salon to be kid friendly in every way. It has a fun slide for kids to play on while they wait for their hair stylist.
When your child is seated for their haircut they can choose from a number of different chairs to sit in ranging from an airplane, fire truck, or a pink car. They also have regular chairs for older kids who may not want to sit in a themed car.
Once seated your child can choose a show to watch from either Netflix, Disney +, or PBS. A current favorite for boys to choose is PJ Masks and girls love to choose Frozen. This perfect set-up with their favorite TV show playing while sitting in a themed car makes getting a haircut fun.
Not only is the experience fun, but the stylists are well trained to give haircuts to kids. They will walk you, the parent, through every step of the process helping you by giving you haircut recommendations as well as how to style your child’s hair with hair care products.
Cookie Cutters Haircuts For Kids is of course sensitive to special needs. They realize that haircuts may be scary to some children and they give their stylists special training to work with a child’s needs to deliver exactly what you asked for. In fact, Cookie Cutter stylists have been known to give haircuts to kids while walking around the salon because some kids won’t sit in a chair.
